Good Morning all, As the gym reopens on Monday November 2, 2020 we have a few reminders for the patrons who will be using our facility: All patrons who enter the facility will need to wear a mask during their time at the gym and check in at the front counter. All patrons will need to wear their mask while working out. It does not matter what workout you are doing you must wear a mask.... You may remove your mask if you are drinking water but you will need to immediately place your mask back on while in the gym. Gym staff will be walking around and checking to ensure that patrons are wearing their mask. If you do not have it on, we will ask you to put it on. All patrons who choose to workout out in our facility will need to help clean. After you are done using the gym equipment, you need to wipe it down with the supplies that are in the workout rooms. We are only allowing 21 patrons in the gym at one time. All patrons need to abide by the patron count per room. If there are too many patrons in one room at a time, patrons will be asked to leave and workout in another room. At this time we will be reactivating the 24-hour cards. As a reminder, patrons who have 24-hour access cannot let patrons without a card in the facility during non-staffed hours. One 24-hour access card is only good for one patron. Please do not let your friends, family members or dependants in the facility on your card. If you are caught letting anyone but yourself in the gym on your access card, it will be deactivated for 30 days. The gym will have normal operational hours.

This week, the Child Development Center received a 100% passing rating on their unannounced Headquarters Inspection this means they are in compliance with the continuum of quality set forth by the Marine and Family Programs for Child and Youth Programs in the Marine Corps. In the last year, the Child Development Center has worked diligently to continue to provide the highest standards of care for your children and continue to improve curriculum, training and processes with...in the center. They have worked with different partners to bring in trained observers to the classroom and trainers from parent Commands to grow the knowledge of the caregivers. During lockdown, they provided virtual lessons and materials for families to follow along and create crafts, while not having to incur additional expenses to do so. They worked closely with community stakeholders including the Fire Department to improve upon safety processes for your children and continue to bring new opportunities to staff and look for ways to support the community. Congratulations to the Child Development Center at MWTC.
