McCloud River Bed & Breakfast

Been baking some delicious treats for our guests to enjoy while staying with us. Breakfast always begins with a starter, sometimes two. Rasberry cream cheese croissants are one of my husbands favorites so I seem to make them often. Dessert dishes are filled each afternoon, if you have a special request while staying with us please let me know! I welcome requests. Recently had a GF guest so I made her rasberry crumble bars and some really good chocolate chip cookies with almond flour, you would not know both of these treats were GF. Chocolate crinkles remind me of being a kid when my mom would bake them. Decorated buttercookies with chocolate and sprinkles instead of icing along with caramel almond shortbread. Enjoy taking care of our guests!

This chocolate ganache tart is delicious. Not too sweet, has a crisp buttery chocolate cookie crust and is topped with bourbon whipped cream. Added a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to the plate after the picture.

Wanted to make something different for the breakfast starter so I decided on a cream puff with fresh and chocolate dipped strawberries. Pretty good :-)

Made some extra special Easter Hot Chocolate bombs. Aren't they adorable!

Already the beginning of April, Daffodils are blooming and Mt Shasta is a wonderful sight to see. Spent the afternoon at Bunny Flat Trail and the majestic mountain is RIGHT THERE staring at you. Amazing!
