We are committed to being proactive in the economic recovery of our region by supporting local venors, artists and small businesses during this challenging holiday season. Due to our retail status we are in full compliance with covid-19 safety protocols. Our spacious environment provides a relaxing outdoor/indoor shopping experience with music, warmth and good cheer. See you there.

We say Wow. How is this dance even possible? The rhythm, ease in the upper body with so much complexity at the base. The power of cultural art forms is legion and the study focuses mind, body and soul to be aligned, even if it is just to execute the form. https://youtu.be/G-7jQxrw8jw

https://youtu.be/kE_wAstYFfA?t=110 As many around the world use the mask as a shield of protection, we are inspired to take a deeper look at its cultural significance. When used in ritual dancing, it allows the wearer to focus on his or her internal source. This internal focus often invokes aspects of the personality not shared with others. For those of us interacting with the face of the mask, the personality behind that mask no longer exists, often inspiring an interaction with the archetype the mask represents. As you prepare for the MC Art Gallery’s Masquerade Ball on September 26th. We know that some of you will select a mask for the pure fun of the colors and design, while others will relish in the exploration of deeper meaning. We encourage both and look forward to seeing you at the Masquerade Launch Wakanda-Carnival

A traditional African-American Negro Spiritual being sung in West Africa (Senegal) by a group of students and thier teacher, is a heart felt homage to our history in the United States. A unification through art, time, and the culture of now. Blessed be the root and the fruit. https://www.facebook.com/376727092448174/posts/3147610398693149/
