Intercessory Prayer Emphasis: Establish Your Church Prayer Specific Prayer: Loving Father, thank you that you are great and abundant in power, your understanding is beyond measure. The Commands of Christ Dan Bender, Pastor to Refugee Community Introduction: Pastor's thought: "Flourishing faith in the midst of a pandemic." Key idea: It is possible to thrive by keeping our Lord's commands even during this unusual time. Obedience is how we prove our love for Christ, and no matter what the circumstances, it is possible to obey his commands. Trick question: Would Jesus have told us something to do if it was beyond our ability to accomplish?
