Mayfair Inn

Lately we have some guests who complain about the property being in the middle of no where, the rooms being small and the rooms are overpriced. ..... First and foremost, Mayfair Inn is located in a small town called Inyokern,CA which is in the middle of the high desert bordering Nevada and California off Highway 395. Second, no it is not located in Disneyland or have beach views. If you are in need of such views we do have strong Wi Fi, and therefore should be able to watch ...it on your phone. Perhaps when it is a clear night sky look upwards to the sky and watch the stars and the universe we live in. Perhaps you can see the number of stars that are part of our galaxy. Third, It is located on the route that connects Bakersfield, Lake Isabella and the land of the giant Redwood trees with Death Valley. People who normally stay at our property are folks who need a good night rest, a clean room and functioning equipment and fixtures and then depart the next day for their travels. We offer clean rooms, over sized bathrooms and no frills accommodations however again as stated, with all good air-conditioning heating, 32 inch flat screen TVs with lot of channels, strong WiFi, card key door lock system, good clean beds and pillows and lighting. Fourth, if you are looking for a resort or an end destination hotel with swimming pools and exercise rooms, we certainly are not the ones you should visit. . If you feel we are over priced, then mosey on down the street or the highway where I am certain there are several dumps and when you leave the place in the morning, perhaps, you can do so with the insect bites as well. If you stay at our property and feel that you are in need of anything please let us know. We do not leave the lights on for you in the night, we are open 24 hours. Lastly, we promise friendly staff, one of the cleanest hotel rooms of our size in the area or in this region, as well as coffee and pastery in the mornings. We give the best value for the price we charge., Thank you for your patronage and allowing us to put food on our table each day.

Thank you all for the calls and the concerns each of you had with the Earthquake that centered around Trona about 10 miles away from us. Although Ridgecrest and Trona had damages to the roads, structures and its hospital, our property is still intact and open for business. You can call 760-377-5700 if you will be staying at our property. Both city of Ridgecrest, Trona and their emergency services are welcome to stay at our property for this coming weekend ,as we do have power and all utilities.
