Saturday Qualifying - JConcepts Spring Indoor Nationals INS11 - SS Hobbies & Raceway - JC / MOD LIVE Best 2 of 3 .... Hello and Welcome to the JConcepts.net / Modspeedshop.com Live Feed of this years JConcepts Spring Indoor Nationals hosted by SS Hobbies & Raceway! This uniquely awesome facility is considered indoor / outdoor as the track and pits are covered by a huge roof but the sides are open! The track features a nice flowing supercross style layout with a sugared surfa...ce. The tire of choice is a low profile JConcepts Elipse tire in the Aqua compound. Also located on site is a fully stocked hobby shop so the racers are always taken care of. The layout for this weekend was installed just before this weekend insuring the most even amount of time on the track for all participants. We will be live all weekend following all the racing action on board with MODs Matt Olson and his Live Media gear. We will have follow cam for most of Saturday qualifying, MOD Live interviews, full follow cam for Sunday mains, and pit walks trying to capture the entirety of this event as much as possible. From the MOD Family to yours a very Happy New Year! It's been 1 year that MOD has officially been in it's own building and on both feet. There has been much growth, many lessons, and much more to come for 2021. Overall 2020 was a successful year for the company even with the economic set backs, and that goes out to our special and loyal customers, Thank You! As 2021 approaches so does the Next Generation of the MOD Offroad Championship Series. Each of the events is its own stand alone qualifying event that has Live Media Coverage, Trophies for top 3 in each division, Raffle Prizes and all are 2 day events that you can camp at so you can get the most out of the weekend. The new races are as follows West Coast Open - GOB Raceway - Jan 29-31 Arizona Champs - Fear Farm - Mar 26-28 Norcal Memorial Classic - Delta RC Raceway - May 28-3...0 7K Mountain Challenge - Cedar Hill Raceway - June 25-27 California Champs - CVR 2.0 - Sept 17-19 West Coast Finals - SoCal Nitro - Nov 19-21 This 6 race series travels across the West Coast in three major RC regions (Norcal, Socal, and Arizona) with 2 races in each region bringing 5th scales and the local 8th scale crowds out to experience the atmosphere of these awesome rigs. There will be final trophies awarded to the top 20 of each class and 3 out of 6 races count. In the effort to promote club racing along with a professional rendition of a really no expensed spared series that is also Live Streamed with follow cam for all to watch around the World. Along with adding 8th scales to series fun we will be modifying our racing format to finally have a truly time based ranking / class system rather then personal classification which plagues us with 4-8 people classes. This new method will increase a drivers competition 300-400% (from what we are used to), totally eliminate sand bagging, make qualifying matter once again, fill our classes, and eliminate marshal issues (something we are plagued with) , we have already tested and proved this method at another event and got nothing but rave reviews from the racers, oh and it made for a shorter day! There will now be divisions I,II,III,IV and each division for the top 3 gets trophies along with can bump to another division. Also each round is re seeded after each qual so the racing will always be close! Looking forward to the new year, an actual flier is coming and the dates are set, make sure to get them on your calendars. Oh and remember you get to camp at each and every event! Hi Everyone! We know that there has been some confusion "if" we would be racing in Victorville at Socal Nitro Raceway for the 2020 Finals, the answer is YES, but the dates have been pushed back to December 4-6 ! Due to COVID and the regulations they are held to they are not able to have overnight camping during the month of November, do to the fact that it is a 2-3 day race and everyone has rigs and part of the fun is camping and hanging out at night it was necessary to push it back to December when camping is allowed. So with that said we will be pushing the Finals to December 4-6 please make the necessary adjustments to your itinerary's and schedules.
