Good news!! Prop 19 might be delayed to Feb. 16, 2023. Prop 19 passed in November 2020 removed the parent-child exemption which allows families to retain their existing property tax when properties are transferred from parent to child or child to parent, except for homes that are principal residence for both parent & child. Many rushed to complete the transfer before the February 16 deadline... Bill 668 will give families 2 additional years to properly plan for the prope...rties intended to be kept within families for a long time. If you have questions regarding Prop 19 and possible solutions, contact Law Office of Matthew Triet Vo (408) 978-7076 https://www.sbsun.com///temporarily-delay-prop-19-changes/
