So if someone you know emails you a Dropbox file link... Pay attention to where it takes you. Several of my customers have been successfully exploited after a attempt to login to a false Dropbox (that asks for your email credentials). Once they have access to the email account they will email the same exploit to all of your contacts and then delete your contacts and create a rule that sends all of your new emails into the trash.
