Let’s talk calculators! I’ve used many calculators in my day! The TI-89 was my go-to through college, but once I started teaching, I fell in love with the TI-Nspire! Every teacher and school have different requirements for calculators, but here are my favorites!... And this is where I recommend evaluating your (or your student’s career plans). Absolutely LOVING Numberblocks on Netflix! It is doing an excellent job teaching number sense at the young learner level, using the tools they use in classroom all the way through high school - Unifix Cubes and Base 10 Blocks.
