Happy Monday! How is everyone doing? Much love!

My little Ava turned nine today and I don’t know how I feel about this guys. I didn’t think I would be so chocked up. It’s like where did the time fly?! I’m so proud of who you are and what you’re turning into dear Ava. You’re a deeply compassionate, sweet, creative and gentle soul. I love you with all my heart.

I went back and forth about writing this post, but my wife always tells me that everyone should feel good about owning their accomplishments and being proud of achieving their goals. I have tried to be better about that, especially as I know how proud I feel when I see my friends and peers post about their successes. Despite the hardships of the past 11 months (on our collective lives, businesses and the entire wedding business in general) I am so honored to be ranked #14 i...n North America and Top 10 in the USA (and #3 in California!!!) by Masters of Wedding Photography, with a total number of 7 awards. I have so much gratitude to everyone I have worked with, especially my incredible clients. As the year progressed, we all adjusted and worked together to swim with the tide. We found joy where we could and spent time supporting each other. It was the insanest of years but also a year filled with solidarity and hope. I know we are all looking forward to getting back on track, but I am also looking forward to continuing the spirit of togetherness. I shot Sneha and Anup’s wedding a couple of years ago and I fell in love with them and their families. I was pleasantly surprised when they asked me me to shoot their son’s First Birthday.
