Matadorvino has a placement at Wine Spies today, Godspeed Vineyards Estate Chardonnay 2013. This wine is a project of the Larry Stricker family, and the grapes are from their Mt. Veeder estate vineyard. This vineyard’s fruit has gone into some impressive wine, supplied to Wineries such as: Robert Craig, Bremmer, William Hill, Newton, Monticello, & Sbragia Truly a handcrafted wine, the fruit is whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented. It is aged 12 months in French oak ( 80% Neutral). It has a profuse tropical nose, with notes of pineapple and citrus.
