Heat is the theme for this fun, cozy and modern patio I created as part of a design project for a vacation rental here in Carlsbad. The warmth of the orange sun shade and sleek vessel fire pit play nicely with the texture of the Shou Sugi Ban (burnt cedar) wall feature in the back corner .

Industrial styling is here to stay in 2021 and this kitchen featured in Domino Magazine has a few standout details. My clients so greatly appreciate their occasional indulgences in spa trips that we designed this calming retreat right in their very own home. By raising the ceiling, enlarging the shower and installing a soaking tub and clean lined cabinetry, I aimed to create a principal bathroom that felt both relaxing and luxurious.

We doubled the entertainment space and created a seamless transition to the outside (and that relaxing view!) by installing these beautiful glass bifold doors the whole length of the family room wall.

Updated a guest bath for a client looking for ease with an aging parent. Took out a closet to enlarge the shower and used beautiful new tile from San Diego Marble & Tile.

Again this year we saw a lot of mixing Vintage (rustic wood/metal/glass) with Glam (chandlers/crystal/mirror). Wood ~ inlays, carved, natural, overlays & lots of grain. Tons of blue & big patterned pillows. ... Oversized art pieces and large unstructured mirrors shapes.
