It’s been a wild few weeks for everyone, and as we dive into the closing quarter of the year we wanted to celebrate new homes and sales for many of our clients! - 9 closings in 6 weeks ( A few seen above!) - 7 in escrow - 4 active listings ( and more coming so stay tuned!) ... - Listing and selling homes currently in Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Desert Wondering what’s happening in the market as a whole? Here in the valley, in the last 10 years the median detached home price has gone up from $160,000 to $510,000+ with this year alone being a 27% increase just from October of 2019. Seven cities now have year-over-year double digit price increases for detached homes. The four cities with the largest increase La Quinta, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City and Palm Springs. Attached homes in the last 10 years have a median price growth from $160,000 - $315,000. The median attached home price in October was $315,000, up 12.7% over last year. It is clear that attached home prices are beginning to accelerate and catch up to the movement of detached homes. The valley is BOOMING.
