We are looking for an Associate Immigration Attorney to review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments. Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.... Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare and submitting legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases Correspond and/or meet with clients to gather documents and information and to guide them through various visa processes. Use case management system/database, various firm systems, and project management skills to monitor case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet both legal and client-relations deadlines. Exercise meticulous attention to detail to produce error-free forms, correspondence, and related legal work product. Prepare and represent clients at government interviews. Other tasks as required to meet client, Managing Attorney, and firm needs. Advising and representing clients in courts, before government agencies, or in private legal matters Holding meetings with clients in order to discuss details of a case Conducting research and analysis of legal problems Analyzing the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for clients Filing briefs and other legal writings on behalf of clients Preparing and filing legal documents Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Graduate of an accredited institution by the American Bar Association (ABA) with a Juris Doctor (J.D.); degree completed with a specialization in corporate law or any related field required Barred in a least 1 State Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred) Immigration Experience 1-3 yrs Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Language: Spanish (Required) License/Certification: Bar (Required) Work Location: One location Work Remotely: No

Assist paralegals and attorneys with data entry Handle High Volume of calls and walk-ins Create various forms for effective correspondence, and perform data entry and general administrative tasks, such as scanning and filing of documents. Other administrative duties as assigned by the Managing Attorney or Office Manager Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Typing minimum: 50 WPM, 90% accuracy Solid knowledge of Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote.
