Excited to report some new sections are finally getting a little love, and some old ones too. Reggae pocket is coming in strong. And still a box more to add. A beautiful collector’s copy of Catch a Fire (zippo top intact!) in the featured seat. Metal and beyond is now in the house too, thanks to local metal pro @emerson_hoff ... Modern rock (which to me is basically any variety of rock, 90’s and up) is filling in. Rap/hip-hop has a humble beginning, def need more of that good stuff. Got a good start on the 45s section a while back, need to jump back in the cleaning chair to keep that going. But liking what’s out. And actually organized the dollar bins somewhat, for easier perusing. Shop in action, always morphing. #dayinthelife It’s a great week for some digging. Hope to see ya!

Fanny pack Square reader Pocket logbook Lotsa $1s Super fun day in the sun yesterday at the @storefrontrecords Vinyl Swap in West Oakland! It’d been well over a year since my last swap and it felt joyous to set up outside again and see/meet all you vinyl lovers. Great vibes, good people. Was stoked to be set up in between a few of my fav local shops - @1234gorecords @econojamrecords @mountainmusic4444 ... We even got a visit from the great @fantasticnegrito, powering through on crutches just post-knee surgery. Shoutout to SF label @hominginstinctrecs for introducing themselves and hooking up Mars with a couple of their latest titles. Can’t wait to give them a spin! Also good chatting with @denimyeti83, @sndtrak, @annieoaklandmade and all the other kind folks who hung out at the booth for a few.
