How do you create space between you & those difficult emotions? When experiencing difficult emotions, create space between you & those emotions acknowledge them as a compassionate observer and the "I am angry" "I am worried" "I am anxious" becomes "I see anger happening" "I'm observing worry" As humans we have the amazing capacity to feel many emotions & some at the same time.... We have a body. We have a mind. We have emotions. They are things we possess not things that define us.
