Welcome Back! Hair Salons in San Diego were given the green light to reopen and our hairstylist are so excited to be back! (We are sad Manicurist still need to wait, but hope Noemi will be joining us soon!) As excited as we are to be getting back to business, there are some changes and new guidelines that we must enforce to remain open. We have to turn anyone not adhering to them away so please take a moment to familiarize yourself. What to expect at your next appointment...: If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 please cancel asap. Any reported cases in the salon will result in a Salon shut down for 2 weeks. Ear loop face coverings are mandatory and must be worn for the entire appointment. We will have Masks available if you do not have one. Indoor waiting area has been eliminated. Please wait outside or in your car until we invite you in. Please text your stylist when you arrive. Health & Well being questionnaire is required before entering salon. Maintain 6 feet physical distance from other customers. Wash hands and/or use provided hand sanitizer upon arrival. Leave all personal belongings in car with the exception of cell phone, credit card and keys. PayPal and Apple Pay is available. Consume all food and drink outside of the salon. No beverages will be provided at this time. Any person not receiving a hair service will not be permitted inside the salon. Color services will process outside (weather permitting) Avoid handshakes, hugs or similar greetings. What to expect from us: Any stylist showing symptoms of COVID-19 will not come to work and will check their temperature before each shift. Face Masks are mandatory and will be worn at all times. Gloves must be worn while performing chemical services and cleaning/disinfecting surfaces. Stylists must wash hands before and after each client, cleaning/disinfecting, and glove removal. All hair stations and touched surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized with 70% alcohol, Barbicide or Lysol before allowing next client to enter. Doors of salon will be kept open at all times, weather permitting, to increase air flow and reduce indoor exposure. We sure miss being in the salon and seeing our clients! I’m hearing rumors that phase 3 could open up in the next month. (Salons are phase 3) We have all taken and passed the Barbicide certification for disinfecting the salon. We are ready so when we get the green light to reopen.
