I had just graduated high school. I had been doing some training with Cesar Gracie but just started. My friends and I were really excited to see the UFC. I went to visit my best friend in LA and we were going to watch the fights. We had a hard time trying to order the fights and eventually had to give up. We went to go get pizza and heard a bunch of the cooks yelling in the kitchen. We asked if they were watching the fights and told them we couldn’t get it. We ended up in the kitchen eating pizza and watching the UFC with the cooks and waiters. Royce Gracie blew my mind and won the tournament.
