Marin Evening Rotary

Happy Easter! Marin Evening Rotary delivered 50 Easter baskets for children in residence at The Center for Domestic Peace in San Rafael. The baskets were designed to be age appropriate for the kids. Plenty of smiling faces coming soon.

PPE for Ecuador Rotary Club of Marin Evening sponsored the purchase and delivery of PPE to 30 hospitals in Ecuador. 1,000 surgical masks and 35 PPEs were delivered to the Tenguel Medical Center

Marin Evening Rotary provided over 500 eyeglasses for needy people in Ecuador through Restoring Vision. The glasses were distributed by the Guayaquil Rotaract club. Now many people can read, sew and conduct their business again because of this great effort.

These handmade, beautiful face coverings were donated to the Center for Domestic Peace by the Rotary Club of Marin Evening. These lovely face coverings were made by Barbara Gillett, member of the Rotary Club of Marin Evening. Center for Domestic Peace (C4DP) leads a comprehensive community effort to end the #1 violent crime in Marin County: domestic violence and provides transformational services and programs that protect and enhance victim safety, and ultimately engage our community in permanent change.

The Marin Evening Rotary Club has just provided 170,000 protective masks and 4,722 protective medical uniforms for at-risk doctors, nurses and medical personnel at hospitals in Ecuador. This PPE, intended for medical people treating Covid-19 patients, is being distributed to 27 hospitals throughout Ecuador including the Highlands, Coastal cities and the Galapagos. Sixteen Rotary clubs in Ecuador are helping distribute this equipment along with our partner Rotary Club of Guayaquil Norte.
