VOTE! Are you fired up? Are you ready to vote? Don’t think for a second that your vote doesn’t matter - every vote counts! MA acknowledges that we are not all experiencing this election season in the same way, and recognizes our responsibility to help foster an environment where we can disagree and maintain our dignity. Join Mya and Sanjai tomorrow during lunch blocks for dialog on how to process and engage in conversation even when we disagree. Check email for Zoom link, but for today, if you’re 18 or older, hit the polls! #vote #registertovote #vote2020

Let’s give a warm welcome to our new history teacher Annelise Morris! Annelise earned their BA in Anthropology and Comparative Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and their MA and PhD in Archaeology from UC Berkeley. Hobbies include (but are not limited to): gardening, hiking, tabletop games, reading, and playing video games - Breath of the Wild is their all-time favorite (let’s go, Link)! Annelise also loves seasonal crafting and you can sign up for their Cross-stitch virtual Inning with the Outings Department on Nov. 19. #facultyfriday

More scenes from our first week back of in-person learning. The masks may hide them, but there were lots of smiles all around campus!

MA is back in person! Thank you to everyone in our community who helped make this possible - faculty, staff, ops team, our COVID coordinator, and the continued cooperation of our students and families! Keep up the good work!

Adrian Gutierrez is the newest member of our amazing Operations team and is seen here measuring out lunch areas to keep our students safe and distant. As you already know, Operations has been working very hard for months reconfiguring our campus to meet health guidelines, so when you get here, be sure to say hi and a big THANK YOU! Yay Adrian! #facultyfriday

MA’s new COVID-19 Coordinator, Gayle Masada has been working ’round the clock to ensure our safety upon returning, researching and developing new practices and procedures. A registered nurse, she had thought to retire and moved to San Anselmo in March with lots of travel plans, but that's on hold for now as she is gladly helping out at our school. Gayle was born in Hawaii, so naturally, when she’s not focused on hand sanitizer, masks, and PPE, she’s dreaming about beaches and spam musubi. #facultyfriday

The Return to Activity program is underway! Adhering to guidelines provided by health services, our Athletics and Outings departments are safely able to allow small groups of students to participate in socially distanced running, swimming, and hiking. We support physical, mental, and social well being! Stay safe, Cats!
