Have you heard the news!? Our 'Clearlake Alter Project' is back and ready to help residents of Clearlake, CA with free spay/neuter. ATTN: CLEARLAKE RESIDENTS! Residents, if you have any dogs, cats, puppies or kittens that need to be spayed and/or neutered, we will help and the surgery is FREE! We will also include a free microchip with each surgery. Each household can spay/neuter up to 3 pets. However there is no limit for pit bulls and pit bull mixes. The Clearlake Alter Pro...ject does not provide altering for semi-feral and feral cats. This program is being funded thanks to the fundraising efforts by WCAL and Dogwood Animal Rescue Project in partnership with Middletown Animal Hospital. To schedule your appointment, call Middletown Animal Hospital at 707-987-2000. Proof of residency is required. PLEASE SHARE far and wide to help us get the word out. Our goal is to help pet owners alter their pets and prevent unwanted puppies and kittens from being born. Clearlake has the largest pet overpopulation challenges in Lake County. By focusing our funding and resources here, we hope to make a significant impact where the need is the greatest. Funding for this project is limited and appointments will be made on a first come first serve basis. With support from generous donors, our goal is to provide the program again next Fall too!
