This is a fun one with many steps so it will come in parts for you all. Please be patient with me. The layout and pictures are sometimes the hardest part of a t...utorial. There is only so much I can do on these platforms. This is a blending technique for rainbow stack of colors to cut through as Mokume Gane or a sheet to cut apart and blend the colors up for mixing colors quickly in the Pasta machine. It helps to take the pressure off my old hands by blending in my PM whenever possible. I have been working in some kind of clay for 50+ years now. Seriously happy and so grateful about being able to do that this long. I am guessing right now with the two different blending methods, I am looking at at least 4 parts to this one tutorial. Remember this experiment? I went to look for the photos of the changes and the canes. Oops, not there. The hardest part of experimenting is stoping and taking p...ictures of the process. I get so involved, sometimes I try to completely skip the part of taking pictures. But I did have a smaller plan saved and I am going to share that with you now. I even have baked or cured samples. Some of you were asking about color changes in the Metallic Cernit colors, before and after baking or curing them. Here are two examples from some upcoming expe...riments. I wasn’t going to post yet but these are such great examples. These do have some added Pearl White metallic which lightens things up (very important info). Which is shown in the experiment when it gets up here. You will see how I used in the two new experiments, when I can get them done. Marie Thank you all so much for being patient with us.
