*Alexa, play coffee shop music* I close my eyes, let the coffee hit and imagine I’m enjoying an easy morning with some sunshine beaming on my face and a cool breeze passing through my hair. I could literally smell the cinnamon rolls and croissants for a split second until my two year old pulled me back into reality by running and T-Rex roaring all the way into my lap spilling my coffee. We adopted a new baby!! So naturally I had to take his newborn pics because we all know they don’t keep. His name is Ollie Andrade, and we love him so much. In one day I’ve watched my 5 year old grow up over night. It’s been the coolest, I’m the proudest and equally heartbroken. My boy is growing up before my eyes and I can’t do anything to stop it. Hi friends! This social media thing has gotten away from me, I’ve been blessed to be so busy behind the scenes both personally and professionally! I thank you all SO SO SO much for that. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude. I’ve met so many new faces over the last few months, I was due for a family introduction. Now that I think about it, I don’t know if I’ve ever done this before. Here they are, the guys in charge of my whole heart. The one standing in front is, Ja...xson, he is 5. He is the best big brother, he’s got the sweetest heart, and the 3 years I spent at home with him before his brother came along will forever be some of my most cherished memories. . . *Enter, Logan.* He is in my husbands arms, he is 2, he is all passion. He’s cute as He and he knows it. I know what you’re thinking Aw the poor middle child.. NO, stop right there In his mind he is the only child, and he’s never met a no he hasn’t challenged. I’m grateful for his love of @blippi , it’s how I’m able to do...well anything . . Lastly, that squishy baby on my hip. Isn’t he delicious? I have a hard time being humble when it comes to my ability to make cute kids, oops. His name is Johnny (after my papa who passed away earlier this year). He is 6 months old as of Sunday, and growing stupid fast. I mean it, hug your babies. John John is the happiest, sweetest baby I’ve ever know! Literal ANGEL! He is our last and while I’m happy to be done with the pregnancy part of my life, I’m sad. I love these boys. I would have 10 more if I thought my body and mind would allow it! Oh and that hunk of man standing next to me, he’s everything. But that man deserves his own intro post so I’ll save it for another time . This sweet little family let me (a stranger) come into their home at their most vulnerable, & raw time. Even with all the evil + crazy in the world right now, and look what beautiful moments we captured. I am still just so thankful I get to call this my job. All of the new faces that I meet are how I know this world is good and kind. I don’t see it on the news, I don’t always see it on social media. I see it in each of you in every session. Sure perfectly posed, everyone looking and smiling is fine and dandy but is that what you really want to remember when you’re looking back in 30 years? Yes, look into my camera periodically or if I guide you to but my favorite captures are these...the real life belly laughs, the way a daddy looks at his baby girl(s), the way a wife stares at her hubby & fam when her heart is full and she’s got everything she could ever need right beside her, the love and joy your kids have for eachother...the list goes on. If an album full of perfect, look, smile, and shoot is your idea of a successful family session be sure to let me know, I will do my best but I may still disappoint.
