We are pleased to announce that all of our COVID tests have come back with negative results! All tests were taken early Saturday with results provided by the next morning. Sunday started with a professional cleaning company coming into each restaurant to do surface disinfection, followed by our staff coming in to do a more detailed cleaning in preparation for us to reopen with our usual business hours. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding whil...e worked to provide the safest environment possible for our community. National City Hours: Monday - Sunday 10 am to 8 pm Mira Mesa Hours: Monday closed Tuesday - Thursday 10:30am to 7:30pm Friday -Sunday 10am to 8 pm.

UPDATE: Employees have been tested and all results have come back negative. Business will resume again on Monday January 19th.

Manila Sunset has recently had an employee hospitalized due to COVID complications. This employee had been quarantining at home for nearly a week before needing hospital care, but out of caution and care for our staff and customers we have made the decision to temporarily close both San Diego locations. We will have all employees tested via PCR nasal swab testing and will have results within 24 hours to ensure their health/safety and work hard to ensure this is an isolated ca...se amongst our staff. We will remain closed until each employee receives a negative test result and to perform a deep cleaning and sanitation of our facilities. At this time, we are uncertain of a timeframe for reopening, so please be patient as we navigate the decisions that lay ahead. If you have a pre-order for the coming days, we will contact you to cancel your order and stop payment if applicable. While we understand the inconveniences this may cause, we feel a temporary closure is the most responsible decision to make in a difficult situation.
