This disturbed killer never met the victim, Roberto Rivera. He got jealous because victim had phone conversations with a former girlfriend who the killer was dating. The details are disturbing leaving many people in deep pain, specially victim’s teenage children. We wish Roberto’s family and friends to find peace.

It's been a year since the attached article was published. An entire year of standing up against the evil that has added more pain upon a decent mother of five children, a hard working minimum wage earner woman that had to raise her children in a gang infested neighborhood. One year ago, Attorney Robin Yeamans and I appeared on Talking with Henrietta Show on the topic of what help is available to crime victims in CA. The State Victim Compensation is a great benefit that is funded by criminal restitution, not tax-payers money. There is a problem though, often times the benefit doesn't happen for different reasons including incompetence and a mean spirit that doesn't keep in mind the reason why this benefit exists in the first place. CA legislator...s have tried over and over and over to fix the Program to no avail! Tomorrow, Jose's mother and I will plead, at a hearing, for the state to reimburse $7,500 in funeral/burial expenses as a direct result of the violent incident of stabbing that took the precious life of an 18-year-old. Jose is a loved son and a brother, just like any decent parent and sibling in this universe that love their own flesh and blood. District Attorney is a prosecutor office, not crime investigators. Investigation duties belong to police departments. Separation of the two duties are a must to keep the integrity of the case intact.
