Ms Julia and I (Ms Lori) have finished our second Nature Explorer Activity Book! Zine #2 - Winter Animal Tracks! We've chosen five animals to highlight for your outdoor tracking pleasure: Long-tailed Weasel, Black-tailed Jackrabbit, Mule Deer, Black Bears (who sometimes do not hibernate), and our beloved coyotes!! Each zine comes with one of those animals as an articulated "paper doll" that you get to cut out and put together with included brads. These zines are in quarantine but ready to go tomorrow, Wednesday (16 Dec). In addition to the animal tracks zine, we are thinking a wee zine on winter birds might be nice! So I am working from home today on some of those very birds! The research on these zines is our FAVORITE part! So much fun. #measureu #mammothlakesrecreation #monoctylibraries #winterbirds
