Happy Friday! We’re celebrating the end of another great week with art, crafts and water play ! How are you ending your week and welcoming in the weekend?

Warm weather makes for perfect outdoor play conditions! We are so thankful for our shady yard and beautiful California weather that allows us to be outside all year round

Discovering the ocean through hands on learning! Here at Mama Bear Child Care, we believe learning is best cultivated through exploration and experience, which is why we let our kiddos dive in to all of the topics we study!

So the next time you’re looking for a fun past time or an easy way to support development , grab some beans, shaving cream, ice cubes, or any other sensory item and let your child dive in!

Who doesn’t love play-doh?! Play-doh supports sensory learning, creativity, understanding of objects changing form and fine motor skills all at once. One of our favorite activities during center time!

Fine motor can be fun with activities like zippers, buttons and more! We love getting to teach our little community about real life skills in fun and engaging ways

Chomp, stomp, roar! Here come the dinosaurs! can you guess what we’re learning about this week? Hint: they’re prehistoric, some fly, some walk, and they get bathed by preschoolers occasionally!

The weekend is here and it’s a bittersweet feeling here at Mama Bear Child Care! We love the weekend, but we also love getting to spend time with our littles and play with toys just as much! Bye until Monday, when we meet again for more fun...

What do children learn from others? Trick question- they learn EVERYTHING from others! A child’s natural curiosity and desire to learn is enhanced & supported through social environments, which provide explanations, a safe haven to explore from, and new interactions on a regular basis This is one of the main reasons we love providing educational settings and relationships for our little ones!

Can you spot our butterfly friend? We love being able to teach our littles about nature and science through outdoor exploration gardening, water play, sand box time and neighborhood walks are just the beginning of our hands on learning!
