These little guys start at 2 and get expanded to just over 2-1/4 for a nice friction fit on factory tips. The welds are fusion only and have no trouble holding up to that much stretching. #allstainless @ Maker Metals

Bunch of thick aluminum work a few weeks back. Pre-heat is the name of the game welding this almost 7/8 thick ally! Also independent amperage control on the #dynasty400 helps a ton! @ Maker Metals
