Acknowledging God For Everything! "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will, they existed and were created." Revelation 4:11 It's a well-known truth that God is the author of all good things. He has made everything in His image, and there is nothing to compare to His work. Genesis 1:31 says, "God saw all he had made on the sixth day, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning....Continue reading

*Excellent is Your Name!* *"O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth."* Psalm 8:9 Have you ever questioned whether your name affects how you worked things out? Has anyone ever told you that the family name suits you or doesn't? Although it does not matter what people say anyway, you are created in the image of God to reflect, "I am that I am" However, the idea of names you call God and how you identify him is the prevalent figure at the value of your Being.... It is up to you what to call God. A man can not diminish God's glory when he calls Him a foolish name, but instead, he becomes foolish when he thinks God does not exist. Psalm 53:1 says, "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt and vile in their ways; no one does well." What you call God is what God will use for you. If you call God a good God, he will use it to make you better than any other person. Look at the life of David; he begins and ends this Psalm 8 with a praise to the majesty of God. *"O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! Who have set your glory above the heavens."* Psalm 8:1 It may have been on a beautiful morning or a day when the shepherd boy David greeted the rising sun and exclaimed, "He who shows your sovereignty in heaven!" The proud and rebellious people do not praise God. However, little children look in awe at the beautiful creation of God, and from their lips, praise sounds. As David looked up into the night sky at night, he thought of the infinite vastness of the universe that God had created. Man is just a tiny spot. Why should the great and glorious God take care of him? We are nothing but meaningless patches in the infinite and vast universe when we exclude God. However, if we acknowledge God as our Creator and Lord, then we realize that he has created us for a mission to be the steward of his universe. He made us for his glory. We cannot deny this fact. God indeed created us for a purpose, and that purpose is to adore him. It does not matter what you are going through now; I encourage you to hold on to Jesus and let us worship God in silent submission. Psalm 46:10-11 says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."* The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Prayer: Lord, thank you for remembering me and for making me do your good works. https://maglife.org/

Faith Comes by Hearing! "Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you practice the law or because you hear and believe?" Galatians 3:5 Faith comes in many forms, but the best way to acquire this invisible spiritual thing is to hear and believe the word of God. It's a very simple concept, but it can be difficult to grasp if we allow 'seeing to believe reality' rules; Forget that faith is the force behind all the metaphysical forces that present the... unseen things into a reality beyond our understanding. A powerful force that can be used to harness any situation or circumstance and used to achieve anything we desire with the word of God. Saint Augustine said, "Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe." Though to an unbeliever, the Word remains a letter to them, and that kills, but to a believer, we have the life and spirit of God. This is the reality we grow to know and understand. Everything we need is encoded in the Word. There is no other place to find the keys to all divine doors rather than the Word of God. Psalm 119:130 says, "The entrance of the words of God gives light; It gives understanding to the simple." Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." The Word of God is the most magnificent propeller of faith. Initially, we understand and strongly have faith in God because we found that living truth from the word of God. So, the word of God is still the foundation of all faith. I can only pray because the Word says everything I ask, God hears, and He would do it. "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." (Jeremiah 29:12). The truth is that we cannot have faith without the Word of God, and the more we read, hear, and believe the Word of God, the more faith-filled we become. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Moreover, once you have the Word of God in you, never hide it; keep using and exercising it. When challenges come, let the Word of God guide your faith. When you are sick, speak the word, say "with His stripes, I am healed" (paraphrased: Isaiah 53:5). When you need God, arise and pray because "whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith." (Matthew 21:22). When you need God's provision, Philippians 4:19 says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This is our inheritance in Christ, don't doubt it, and don't waste it. Prayer: 1. Father, I thank you for your blessings over my life; I appreciate you for the live-in Your word that you've given me. 2. I ask that you strengthen my faith and open my eyes to find more live in Your word today in Jesus' name. 3. I pray that you will give me strength and courage in my faith. https://youtu.be/G4lY9q1KRfo https://maglife.org/

God's Providential Care! "Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion." 2 Timothy 4:17 As John Donne said, "No man is an island entire unto himself." It doesn't matter who you are, what your background is, or how much money someone has; if you have a good heart and soul, loneliness can never be your companion, how much more if y...ou are a child of God. Of course, friends and family may forsake you despite your good heart, but God cannot forsake you. As 1 Thessalonians 5:9 said, "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." God's love is the only thing that will save us from this darkness of loneliness. If you have been sad or angry about a situation when you think you were alone without God, remember this: he was near to your heart, and the angel surrounded you. Being a part of the family of God certainly has its advantages. When things are tough, we look to a brother or sister to offer comfort. However, sometimes, whether by oversight or malice, we may feel no one cares. Circumstances seem to chase everyone away, and loneliness becomes our only companion. I pray that loneliness will not be your companion in Jesus' name. Philippians 1:6 says, "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." Paul felt this way during the later years of his life. In prison, Paul asked God to forgive those who abandoned him once again for preaching the gospel. Knowing that God had a plan to share the good news using a shackled older man, Paul kept preaching. Amid his loneliness, Paul kept preaching. Although Paul stared death in the face, he kept preaching. God never left Paul. He gave Paul the strength to continue proclaiming Christ's love. Even if others run away when we need them most, God will meet us amid and above our needs. There are days you will be depressed, and no one will be there to understand a glimpse of what is going on within you; only God can comfort you at that point. When we face loneliness or the very moment of death, we can trust Him. He will always stand with His children. Remember, Jesus said, "I will never leave thee" (Heb. 13:5). That's the word of the Lord when He says, "He will never leave you," He meant it. Genesis 28:15 says, "Look, I am with you, and I will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you." Prayer: 1. Father, thank You for reminding me that You are with me and sustaining me when I feel alone. 2. Dear God, help me to be strong in my faith. 3. Please help me know that you are with me and give me strength. https://youtu.be/0qiDD1GdFJ0 https://maglife.org/

A Divided Mind and Heart! "He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God." Wake Up, Sleeper! Therefore, He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." Ephesians 5:14 A mother's voice is like an angel's call to her child and will lull her child to sleep. However, with the same voice, when the house is in danger, she will call out to her child with a thunderous voice. This is called the 'waking up' part of our life because we cannot awaken with such sweet and pleasant sounds. ... Today's Bible verse's commands are addressed to the sleeper who has been asleep in the spirit. The Lord God is calling us to rise and walk in the way of righteousness. Many sinners sleep in a grave of the unknown because they do not know what to do. They have no clue how to get out of their beds or where they can go to find true rest. Romans 13:11 says, "Do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed." We lose so much while we keep sleeping in our sin, pain, anger, and bitterness that we forget that the thief pilfers by night the riches of life. When we fall asleep in the darkest hour and weakness, the tare-sower goes forth in business to sow the seed of more evil and destruction (Matthew 13:25), then lose sight of the truth of God. However, Christ is calling us in the direction of righteousness. He is calling us with the voice of wisdom and truth. He calls us to live in the light of his glory and love for all people and be obedient to him. We must follow the call of Jesus Christ as he calls us with His precious blood of redemption through faith. We must believe that Jesus is our savior and redeemer, who has given us the light of life and the power to overcome death. Not only that, but we must trust Him. John 5:25 says, "I assure you that the time is coming; indeed it's here now when the dead will hear my voicethe voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live. Prayer: 1. Lord, grant me the strength to stand firm in my faith. 2. Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light, has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you." in Jesus' name. Amen. While You Sleep! "But while everyone was sleeping, their enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and left." Matthew 13:25 There is a big house in a town I once lived in; it was a half-fenced duplex beside the road. Just in the middle of a particular night, armed robbers were jumping the fence into the compound. Fortunately, this rich man was not sleeping at that point, and he could see them from his room at the upper part of the house. He quickly picked his phone, called n...ecessary security officials in town, and quietly protected all major entrances to the building. The rubbers struggled to enter for almost half an hour before the security men could finally rescue the building. Can you imagine? There are so many times we lost things, and we can't even tell how it happens. While we sleep, that is when the enemy chose to come and destroy treasure. It's not always about the night; it's about who is not sleeping. What if the rich man was sleeping at that point? The enemies would enter and sow their dangerous seeds. 1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walked about, seeking whom he may devour." That is to the physical properties, how much of damages can we record in the spirit. Until we are spiritually awakened, the devil won't stop sowing the seeds of sin into our lives. And that is the greatest peril that can fall upon humanity. The devil knows that it is the best time for Him to operate once your spirit is asleep. He would come, sow the seed of sin and then make you lose all spiritual blessings. In the days you are too lazy to pray or read the Word, know that the devil is about to rob you of something great. Please don't fall victim; wake yourself up lest he sows bad seeds while you sleep. Proverbs 28:15 says, the devil is "Like a roaring lion, or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a helpless people." Prayer: 1. Lord, I ask for the grace to be disciplined, strengthen me to serve you at all-time irrespective of the things that might come my way. I refuse to be a victim of the enemy, awaken my spirit and give me life in Jesus' name. Prayer and the Word! 2 "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer." Acts 2:42 Do not let the mind wander off course of your source of wisdom, power, and strength while trying to keep up with the world's demands. It is a good thing that we have a job and a fulfilling and rewarding life. However, it is also a good thing to continue with the source that gives us strength and confidence to carry on our faith. When we... pray and read the word of God, our minds are set free from all distractions and temptations. A young lady told me her story about her new job at an international institution some time ago. She was told to resume at 7:30 AM and will be closing by 4:30 PM. Well, since she was seeking it, she gladly took it even though it was moderate pay. Such is life, we endure the hardships of life, but we do not give up our hope in God. 2 Timothy 4:5 says, "But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." As she started her duties, she began to feel so uncomfortable after working for months; my duties and official responsibilities were expanding that she had to be leaving the office lately as 7 PM. She would get home with a weak body and mind, and often she discovered she was becoming too far from my prayer life and reading of the word because she had given herself to work. It took her a great discipline and conscious work to redeem her prayer life and fellowship in God's word. Brethren, I know it's a difficult task to readjust your schedule, but I am sure you can find some ways to make it easier to pray and read the word of God. Jesus Christ never neglects the power of prayer; even with His busy schedule on earth, he always finds time to communicate with His Father in heaven to refresh and strengthen himself in the Lord. Mark 1:35 says, "And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed." Prayer: 1. Thank you, Jesus, for all that you have done for me. 2. Please help me in my busy schedule to do what I need to be in your presence, always in Jesus' name. Amen. Surrender All to God! "Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness." Romans 6:13 Our existence on earth is not based on trial and error but instead based on the genuineness of God's love. God didn't create anyone by mistake or just for a test. We are called to live according to his will and purpose in our lives. T...hat's why our utmost purpose must be to believe and serve Him. Each of our days should be to seek and serve Him. The degree of our commitment to God determines how much we trust Him to work things out for us. The more we trust God, the more he works things out for us. We cannot rely on the methods of manipulations, false promise, and other forms of deceptions to get God's attention or help us. Instead, we must trust God with all our heart and soul because He is faithful to His word and promises. Therefore, let go and let God work things out for you. Romans 12:1 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." You don't have to always be in charge. If you are going through any hard times in your life, remember this: God has a solution in store and will be unleashed when you trust and obey. Instead of trying harder to solve every issue of life on your own, learn to trust God more. Necessarily, you do not have to react to every criticism and rush to defend yourself. Surrendered hearts show up best when trust in God. The surrendered heart will never hide anything nor hold back anything in fear of losing it. Though, most of those who claim to be surrendered exempt their money from their object of sacrifice. They are not willing to give up anything for something that is greater and brings God's glory. Don't forget that the surrender of all makes it possible for Christians to live a life of faith. Jesus surrendered His entire Self to God's plan for the salvation of humankind, and yet He loses nothing in the process of giving up everything. Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Prayer: 1. I receive the power and grace too to surrender Lord 2. Psalm 32:8: Holy Spirit, instruct and teach me in the way I should go; counsel me and keep your eye upon me in Jesus' name. Amen.

Whoever Refreshes Others...! "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7 God has given us life; He released his only beloved son for us because of our sin that we may have everlasting life. God expects us to be like him by being a cheerful giver and giving out what we have to Him and our neighbors. Many pick excuses and say they have little and do not bring out o...f/from that small. But the truth about giving is that it's not about money, our possessions, or materialistic item. It's about the heart and soul of the giver. We are not just to give our money; a very precious gift is time. As much as we want to get involved in every other activity, God desires that we give our time as a sigh of offering our life unto Him. We can then put every other thing we want to give Him into time. Our attitude to others can be a means of blessing. Sometimes, it only demands that we give a piece of advice to help others. That is why Romans 12:8 says, "If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly." Financially, we should be a cheerful giver to God and our neighbors. God loves the cheerful giver, and by natural principles, they are blessed souls. Ensure you pay your offering and tithe. Give to every evangelical work, they need it most. Give to charity where you don't expect anything in return for it. Be generous with your time, talents, and gifts to support the youth, elders of the community, and those who are less fortunate than you. Sharing Magnificent Life's daily Devotion in the service of God is one way to show love towards others. Do not be a giver because you expect a return or impress people; our motive and intent are the core area of interest to God. Let your motive for giving be centered on kingdom purpose. It does not matter what you offer or any form it takes; your heart should be involved. Remember, we cannot serve God if we don't have a heart of giving for His kingdom purpose because it's the giving that usher us into the presence of the great. Proverbs 18:16 says, "A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great." Prayer: 1. I receive the power and will to give freely to my neighbor, community, and God. 2. Holy Spirit, make my motives right with God in giving, in Jesus' name. 3. The Lord is my shepherd, and He shall lead you out of trouble, lack, debt, burden, pain, and poverty and into the land of abundance in Jesus's name. The Pointing Finger! "So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God." Understanding Spiritual Growth! "Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith toward God." Hebrew 6:1. As believers, we often have several misconceptions about growing spiritually, and if such fantasies are not taken care of, they can form wrong ideologies, which may become a template to and for several others. Most times, we need to patiently wait on God to d...iscover the thinnest of His move. When you don't understand the happenings within and around your life, it's the time to lay at His presence silently. As you grow to spiritual maturity, you must unite with what God intends with and for you. First, you must believe that God is working in your life even when you don't feel it. You don't have to see everything God does necessarily. There are times He works some things in your life behind the clock, but you will only wake up and see the work done, how it was done, you cannot explain. 2 Peter 1:8 says, "For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." Spiritual growth is a gradual process; you shouldn't expect an instant promotion. Take a step at a time. There are seasons in your spiritual life. Sometimes, you will have a short, intense burst of growth, and sometimes you will experience a period of stabilizing and testing. Steadily and with consistency, you will grow to the best version of yourself, whether you know it or not. Those problems, habits, and hurts will be removed and replaced with solutions and spiritual blessings; they will happen step by step. However, you must keep learning the word of God, continually praying to stay on track, remain in touch, and connected with God. The more you know about God, the better equipped you will be to handle life's challenges and trust God for anything He's up to in your life. What he needs you to do is believe, cooperate with him, and follow-through. 2 Peter 3:18 says, "however, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen." Prayer: 1. Lord, I thank you for the work of salvation and growth in my life. 2.
