What follows the Holiday season? Engagement season of course! My favorite time of year. It is during this time I get to meet so many wonderful couples and hear their proposal stories and their journey together. A magical snow day can turn into a magical proposal...complete with ice skating and hot cocoa. Yummy

Snow days have a way of making everything look new again. Sitting at home watching the snow fall from the window makes me feel so thankful for all this year has brought us. It has been tough and sometimes focused so much on the negative of it but on days like today where I get to work from home, warm in my pj's with my fur babies next to me and a roof over our heads I feel so thankful for all life has given us this year and can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for us. I think itnmay be time to write down my New Year's resolutions and make them happen.

WARNING: This is a real proposal! No styled shoot here. It took lots of planning, coordinating, and the right moment to make this moment possible and the reaction is absolutely priceless! Every second leading up to this moment had been carefully planned with the help of some amazing ladies behind the scene. Nick and Juli it was amazing to meet you both. And the entire evening with you was a dream. I bet you are on cloud 9 cause I still am!!!... I wish you all the happiness in the world! And can't wait to show you more images from your special day!

Jenny reached out to me with the idea of doing an elopement shoot since due to covid they were unable to have their wedding at the venue they had originally planned. Jenny and Jeff still tied the knot with their parents present in a backyard setting and were so thrilled with their intimate reunion they didn't feel the need to proceed with their original plan to have a larger wedding next year. She did however want to wear her dress and that is where I come in! Iloved the idea of a wedding shoot and we got to planning. We did it all. All the getting ready photos, detail shots using their original invites the first look and then at sunset we went off into the forest to shoot their romantics and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you for trusting me to do these you guys! I had such a blast with you two.

With my Fall obsession it seems as if soft cool tones have been missing from my feed so I came across the perfect photo to help remedy that. Guys it is almost December! I can't believe it?! I am actually digging out my large tree from storage (okay having my husband do it) this year and going all out since I personally will be spending most of December at home and want to see the twinkle lights for as long as possible. It is hard to believe 2021 is right around the corner but so ready for it!
