This was the first real show I ever did back in May 2011 - I can’t believe it’s been 10 years!?!?? It was a pop-up mall experience that happens over a weekend in LA called @uniquemarkets and @sonjarasula the founder is dopeAF and believes in entrepreneurial creatives like no one else. I had a cute little shared booth with some necklaces and bracelets while my booth mate sold dog collars. This weekend was a big test. Would people buy MaeMae??? Hmmmm... Guess what, they did ... This show boosted my confidence to keep going, selling more and doing any and all types of shows knowing my shit would sell. Fast forward 10 years and yassssssss muthfkas we still here, doing this thang!!! And doing it well... we got our own store, are in hundreds of stores, got Amazon bringing buyers to our storefront and doing things on our time, with our business philosophies and our key thriving indicators...
