#tbt to this amazing trip to Africa where I summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania! It’s just a reminder of how powerful the mind and body can be. Literally my mouth was wired shut for six weeks up until six days before my departure for this trip. I was nervous because I hadn’t eaten solid food in six weeks and was on medications and now I was going to stop everything and some at 19,000+ elevation with no real training. I was so determined, that I knew nothing could stop me as lo...ngs as I followed the guide’s instructions and did each step with that determination and intention, step-by-step.
