The regional stay home order remains in effect in the San Joaquin Valley Region. It is a protective measure to preserve CA’s health care system for patients and those with other medical emergencies. Current ICU capacity is 1.6% in the SJV as of information released on 12/15/2020. Based on the tier assignment released today, 12/15/2020, Madera County remains in the purple tier. This data is for the timeframe of 11/29/2020-12/5/2020. Case Rate: 46.8... Adjusted Case Rate: 45.0 County Positivity Rate: 14.6% Health Equity Positivity Rate: 14.5% Testing has increased in Madera County and is now above the state median leading to our case numbers being adjusted favorably. Testing in Madera County is 389.4 per 100,000 which is above the state median of 362.39 per 100,000. What we all can do : Stay home and do not gather. To ensure there is no confusion, Madera County is in the purple tier and unfortunately will not be able to move to red tier today based upon the most recent data.
