Stopped by one of my FC180 customers to demo an Ultra 360. The owner explained they were able clean out completely 11 machines in an 8 hour shift. All machines will have been processed in a few days and they can go into maintenance mode and process every machine in the shop about every 2 days. They used the FC180 to vacuum out the bulk of chips, then transfer the coolant to a 55 gallon drum. Then they would scrape up any residual chips and sludge and then use the FC180 to tra...nsfer the filtered coolant back to the machine and then top off the coolant tank. They then put the machine back into production and mopped up around the coolant tank. Total time per machine, under 45 minutes. Previously it took over 2 hours per machine. They stated that just in reduced down time the unit paid for itself in about a week.
