June 27th is National PTSD Awareness Day. Each day, approximately 20 Veterans, many suffering from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries, commit suicide in America.... It is our mission at Shelter to Soldier to help veterans by providing psychiatric service dogs to them at no cost; and we see everyday the incredible changes in veterans and shelter dogs alike when given a brighter path forward.
