Pool is Open!! The Lake Wildwood Pool opened on Monday, June 22, 2020 at diminished capacity and with increased safeguards in place. The plan of action is a soft opening starting at 8 a.m. where lap swimmers will be allowed to use the Pool on a first come first serve basis until 10 a.m. During lap swim, no more than one swimmer per lane (5 lanes total) and still be aware of socially distancing. At 10 a.m., Nevada County Guidelines mandate Lake Wildwood Staff to have all swim...mers leave the pool area and start cleaning and disinfecting all frequently touched surfaces such as handrails, ladders, ADA lifts, door/gate handles, restrooms, showers, and pool patio furniture. The sanitizing will commence for 30 minutes and the pool will be reopened for open/lap swim from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This process will resume for the remainder of the pool operation until closure at 8 p.m. For added safety, the lane lines will remain in the pool to act as a buffer between swimmers.
