Challenge yourself this holiday season on our final naturalist program of the year. The Upper Watershed Hike will take you into the hills above Los Vaqueros Reservoir and explore the natural and cultural worlds of the watershed. The hike is about three miles with moderate hills. This hike is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, December 10. Meet at the County Line Staging Entrance (near the entry Kiosk on Los Vaqueros Road). ccwater.com/activities

Is your son or daughter interested in learning how to fish? Our popular trout clinic for kids has spaces available! The clinic is from 8 to 11:30 a.m. this Saturday, December 9 at the LV Marina. Need to get outside after this week's storms? Take an easy early winter nature hike with us along Kellogg Creek tomorrow morning (Saturday, Nov 18). Our Naturalist will lead us through this slice of the watershed and point out the seasonal changes that are occurring all around! The hike is from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 18 and meets at the John Muir Interpretive Center (19 Walnut Boulevard, Brentwood) www.ccwater.com/activities
