We witnessed the generosity and warmth of our community, which is ALWAYS there, but poured forth all at once in the face of such destruction? It was magical and overwhelming.... The work of LV Fire Relief lives on with the LA Long Term Recovery Group (https://larcro.org/) which is helping fire families get back on their feet. It is going to take a long time, and they still need your support. You can volunteer, donate, or get involved with your unique and beautiful skills and presence. The YMCA's Megan Glynn asked a small crowd on Tuesday night, "Where were you when the world ended?" Everyone here knows their answer immediately. It's how we react to trying moments that defines us.
