I have a birthday request! My dear friend Blanca of 26 years and Crystal’s God Mother, just lost her mom, Norma, to cancer. Two years ago, cancer was detected in her bones and it traveled up to her brain. I’m so sad to say that she lost her battle on March 22, 2019. Norma was like a mother to me growing up. I was at her house a LOT in HS. She welcomed this ‘guera’ with open arms and fed me as if I was one of her own. She even let me stay at their place when I was going th...rough some hard times after Crystal was born. She was an amazing mother to her 4 children and had a beautiful marriage. I watched her and her husband laugh, dance, and of course bicker; I just loved watching them interact with each other. I could feel the love in this house for sure. Norma will always hold a special place in my heart. As a birthday request, I want to ask you to please pray for healing and about making a monetary donation to my dear friend’s family. The medical bills they have endured have become overwhelming for them, and it breaks my heart to watch them grieve and stress about these bills. On their behalf and with their permission, I created this GoFundMe account in hopes that my friends can help. Anything that you can do would be greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas Ladies! We got a head start on Christmas yesterday and got to see my Uncle and his family after a 5-year dry spell. It was so nice to catch up.
