Day who the hell knows anymore of quarantine. Puppy snuggles are the best in keeping my spirits high at at time like this. The unknown is very scary for everyone especially for someone like myself that is a planner! I try to keep everything in perspective to keep sane. I am thankful that myself and family are all home safe and healthy and doing our part to stop the spread of the virus. I am embracing my alone time and solitude and feeling grateful. I encourage everyone to try and keep your spirits high and embrace the small things that bring a smile to your face.

I saw this today and it really stuck with me. This could not be more true. How can you expect anyone to love and respect you if you do not love and respect yourself? I have struggled with this myself but am a work in progress. Do one thing ever day that makes you happy and puts a smile on your face. Do it for no one other then yourself!

Yep, this is something I am currently working on. Not as easy as it seems when you are someone that is empathetic to others and their needs. Sometimes you need to take a step backwards to take steps forward in putting yourself first!
