6/20/16 - 15.50 lb LUNKER Caught by Christopher Vournas of Huntington Beach trolling with Lucky Bear Fishing. This is a record rainbow trout for our guide service and was caught just as we departed from Captain John's Fawn Harbor & Marina. Chris is in the center right behind Captain Mike.

Christopher Vournas, Age 15, Huntington Beach, Calif 15.50 lb Rainbow Trout caught 6/20/16 trolling with Lucky Bear Fishing Charters

15.50 pound Rainbow Trout caught on the afternoon of 6/20/16 by Christopher Vournas age 15 of Huntington Beach. This fish hit a Rapala about 25 minutes into the trip and Chris reeled his trophy size bow in like a pro and Captain Mike netted this monster with ease. We all gasped. This is an amazing catch while trolling on BBL. Captain John was happy to see this fish come back to the marina! We are thrilled for Chris and his friends who were on the lake with us on this beautiful day. We all had a blast. This is the largest fish caught on the Lucky Bear boat.

Couple's fishing together is special and lots of fun! On 6/4/16 afternoon trip one of the bigger fish hit - this 4.3lb beautiful bow took a needlefish near the zebra room and this pretty fisher woman reeled it in like a pro :) The happy couple tied in total catch.
