Today is National Healthcare Decision Day! Please complete an Advanced Healthcare Directive for yourself and encourage your loved ones to do the same. You never know when you will be unable to make your wishes known in a healthcare emergency. The Healthcare Directive forms are free for pick up at the Ombudsman office in San Luis Obispo or you can download the documrnt from the Ombudsman website at Ombudsmanslo.org on the Resources page.... Volunteering to be a Long Term Care Ombudsman shows caring about our elders quality of life is a priority, a necessity, and a guaranteed right.
