Our next LTCC Foundation Board Member is a very familiar face! Jeff DeFranco started at LTCC as Vice President of Administrative Services in 2013. He became the Superintendent/President at Lake Tahoe Community College in January 2017. Jeff brings a wealth of previous experience with school foundations and educational institutions. Jeff earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico and earned his Masters degree in Educational Leadership, with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration from the University of Oregon. He is currently pursuing a Ph. D. in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University's nationally-ranked Organizational Leadership Program. Jeff's vision for LTCC continues to provide an environment for students to thrive. We are eternally grateful for his guidance and leadership at LTCC!
Meet LTCC Board Member, Gregory Cremeans! Gregory is a real estate expert with over 18 years of experience serving Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada. Gregory is passionate about helping others, as seen in his fundraising efforts for numerous community charitable organizations. We are grateful for Gregory's passion to help future generations in our community!
The Lake Tahoe College Promise program inspires students to get involved and make the most of their time as an LTCC Coyote! Thanks to LTCC promise student, Celeste, for her contribution to building our Coyote community!
The José Martínez Memorial Scholarship is supported by the Martínez Family and the LTCC H.O.P.E. Club. Students in the club chose to honor their late peer by fundraising in Jose’s memory. He was a model student who positively influenced those around him. He continuously and gracefully overcame educational and personal barriers as a DREAMer student to obtain his associates degree from LTCC.
Dr. Bob Cliff holds his degree in Industrial Engineering from UC Berkeley where he also taught for four years following graduation. Bob is a member of the South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club and volunteers for the Lake Tahoe Marathon. Bob is very passionate about providing affordable access to college for students who want to pursue a degree in a S.T.E.M. field. We are extremely thankful for Bob's commitment to our students over the past decade!
