As you begin your day, pray this prayer for Health Care workers. Father, we thank you for all those people who have given their lives to help bring healing and provide medical care in their communities. We ask that you grant them wisdom and insight regarding the challenges that they face, guiding, gracing, and sustaining them as they serve for the common good and for your glory. May they be representatives of Christ, extending healing hands, wise solutions, understanding hearts, and clear minds to assist and strengthen those in their care. We are grateful for them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Following Jesus is one long journey of surrender and discovery that He can be trusted with everything.

A life spent walking with Jesus is what life is truly all about.

Have you ever heard of St. Augustine? He is one of the early church fathers. Here is a great quote from him about the love of God.

Take a few moments and pray this prayer for those with mental illness. Our Heavenly Father, today, we lift up all who struggle with mental illness in any form. We thank you that you are a very present help in time of trouble and ask that they would feel your presence in their trouble. May they find their hope and joy in Christ, experiencing healing and wholeness in place of darkness. Strengthen them with all might by your spirit in the inner man. We ask that you, the God of hope, would fill them with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit they may abound in hope. In Jesus' name, Amen. Romans 15:13
