Circling in Protection for all the Wild Horses! CALLING FOR A MORATORIUM ON ALL WILD HORSE REMOVALS IN THE WEST! "BLM Nevada said they needed to remove horses... in the Eagle complex to prevent range destruction. So they gathered 1,076 horses (killed 29) & immediately converted 10,000 suspended livestock AUMs to active. The majority of AUMs here are year round. Please don’t ask for PZP. Ask for a moratorium on roundups and an investigation of this agency.~" Jen Howe Admin~Stop Wild Horse Round Ups Coalition~Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/568794116926526 Love Wild Horses! lovewildhorses.org #StopTheRoundUps ! #FreeWildHorses #PreventWildfires & #GlobalWarming Strengthen Protection Laws Today #WildHorseProtectionAct #StopWildHorseRoundUps #BanHorseSlaughter #RepealBurnsAmendment ! Statistics from the Bureau of Land Management's site, Thank you Jen Howe! Please join us in taking a moment of silence~and sending some good wishes up for all the wild horses whose lives were lost in government wild horse removals and for the many who are living in wasteland like conditions awaiting for their freedom to be granted, or to be adopted and ..to be saved from sale to slaughter. We are seeking vast healthy acreage for wildfire and wild equine protection with and for natural rewilding reserves, to protect horses, wild ones and the land f...rom desertification and wildfires, in Northern California and North Eastern Nevada and in the Wild West. Free roaming wild horses are an integral healing part of a healthy vast rich ecosystem for the Wild West and introducing wild equine grazing is a cost-effective, compassionate and sustainable solution, that we are introducing to help save wild horses and the Wild West today and for future generations to inherit. If you own or manage ~private, public land trust or tribal lands, that you think might be ideal to be protected as a wild equine reserve and for this vision please e-mail us: [email protected] Thank you for rising up to save the horses with us, Love Wild Horses! lovewildhorses.org #LoveWildHorses #OpeningHeartsAndLand

Sharing with our members the importance of Rewilding from the 11th World Wilderness Congress and the Global Rewilding Charter Rewilding is the simple action of ...helping nature heal itself. This is a critical year for nature recovery. Against the backdrop of rising global temperatures, biodiversity decline and the impact of Covid-19, there has never been a greater awareness of our need for nature and the wide range of benefits it provides from clean air and fertile soil to the locking up of atmospheric carbon, resilience to disease and climate change mitigation. We need to do more than simply protect the nature we have left. We need to restore nature by Rewilding large areas, across the world, ranging from ancient forests to coastal mangroves, from peatlands to coral reefs. Rewilding practitioners engage in many activities, including reintroducing native species, protecting watersheds, and restoring wildlands to their natural state. A growing body of research shows that by restoring wildlands we can quickly and effectively achieve at least 37% of global carbon capture targets, and increase the probability of avoiding the catastrophic effects of runaway climate change. (For a related studies, please click here to visit our research library.)https://newildernesstrust.org/about/research/ World Rewilding Day was born out of the planning that took place for the 11th World Wilderness Congress and the Global Rewilding Charter. Recognizing the vast promise and potential encompassed in simple actions that allow nature to heal itself, scientists and conservation leaders started to coalesce around the idea that Rewilding can empower millions of people worldwide to take actions that restore nature and help combat climate change. "The first-ever World Rewilding Day was held on March 20, 2021, with six continents joining forces to create awareness about the need for nature recovery globally. It is time for America to join forces with global Rewilding, starting with our wild horses to benefit the ecosystem. They can prevent the devastating wildfires by grazing down the top-loading fire fuel grasses, making surrounding communities safer in the West. Wild horses are a tremendous benefit in restoring healthy rangelands for all species in the natural world. " lovewildhorses.org Are you ready to rewild with us? Any volunteer time you can give is appreciated in helping us to acquire land for rewilding of our horses onto public land trust, public lands, tribal lands, private lands, and open spaces. Any leads you may have please let us know. We are looking for large acreage of grasslands and water suitable for horses. https://newildernesstrust.org/world-rewilding-day/.
