Sunday, May 31, 2020 - Pentecost Sunday Mass

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Community 11.07.2020

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT This Sunday, May 31 on the Feast Day of Pentecost, we are invited to reach out those who are in need by donating non-perishable items. There are a lot of people are suffering these days. Your donations will help benefit BTAC, St. Vincent de Paul and our Peace and Justice Ministry to help the poor. The need is urgent. Let us make the Feast of Pentecost a day of prayer and let us use our charity as an act of prayer. The Blessed Sacrament wil...l be exposed in front of the grotto from 9 a.m. until noon this Sunday. May 31st is also a great day to show our charity as on this day we traditionally celebrate the Feast of the Visitation. When you come, please enter the church property through the long driveway near the sports court and follow the cones. Stop at the grotto for a few moments to offer your prayers, although please remain in your car. After you have said your prayers you may continue to follow the cones toward Cabrini Hall. Volunteers will be there to collect your donated food items, following all social distancing guidelines. Donations of canned meat, rice, pasta, canned fruit and vegetables, soup and personal hygiene items are greatly appreciated. If you would like to donate cash or check, please place in the basket in front of the grotto. Checks can be made payable to St. Francis Xavier Church for charity. The Peace and Justice Ministry of our Parish will host this event, but they need more volunteers. If you wish to help, please call the Parish Office at 818/504-4400. Thank you and see you Sunday.
