Some quick photos of Saturdays wedding. A fun wedding, gorgeous night. Spring Creek was a great venue.
Went for a preview of the reception hall at Spring Creek Golf and Country Club the other night. Great rafters, lights, and rock. Gorgeous views of orchards and the golf course! <3
A solution to what was a hard to look at, tasseled, white satin card box for the gift table. Upcycle! Wish we had taken a before photo
Trying to use up the last set of votives so the holders can be cleaned and reloaded. Always use long burning votives so your gorgeous lighting last for the whole reception!
A night spent ironing burlap, and snacking on salted caramel cookies. Here is the vase decor, to be filled with rustic blue and white daisey bouquets <3
Getting together tonight with my classmate, friend, and soon to be Bride to decorate vases for reception flowers. Burlap & Blue Ribbon collard vases for her April indoor/outdoor nuptials, and reception at Spring Creek Golf and Country Club!
These would be great for a rustic themed wedding! Saw them yesterday while I was out wrapping up the shopping on an April wedding.
Twin Gerbera. I like to include any special floral anomalies like this in the Brides Bouquet, as a wish for something beautiful, unique, and rare. <3 I have found just one of these unique beauties in every wedding I have done so far! Love Jayne

Flowers are starting to arrive for Saturdays wedding! Receiving shipments for the next couple days. Now the fun starts!
Have a little tulip with your coffee. Why it works: Evolutionary psychologists believe that we see flowers and plants as a subconscious cue of safety ("Things can grow here-let's set down roots"), reward ("All that foraging paid off") and promise ("These buds mean that fruit is on the way"). So the sight of a colorful bouquet in the morning, they theorize, can convince you that everything's coming up roses today. Strange, true thing that might convince you: In a study led by Harvard Medical School psychologist Nancy Etcoff, PhD, women who saw flowers when they woke up reported feeling happier (and less anxious) at home, as well as more energetic at work.(Here's how to get a sunnier start to your day.
