Good morning and welcome to our first Valentine's Day service, a delightful warm up for the parking lot service this afternoon at 4:00 should you be lucky enough to live near LB. Settle in for some good music and part 3 of 4 in our Pastor Heather's sermon series Soul Detox, there is a great message for all inclined to receive! If you are coming to the live worship at 4:00 we are filling 30 Valentine's swag bags, feel free to bring a little goodie to contribute to each bag, individually wrapped if a food item. Everyone takes a bag home, the rest will be delivered to our church family who couldn't attend this evening. Valentine's Day is all about expressing love for one another, the rest of the year is all about expressing Jesus' love for one another, cuz here at NLBCC it's how we roll.

Good morning! Welcome to the 2nd week of Advent, this Sunday we join together in Peace. Our Pastor Heather shares her sermon today with the UCC of Rev. Liz Aguilar, who we shall hear from in the coming weeks. We have a delightful service in store, gather those communion elements, the candle to light along with pastor, your favorite folks, and a heaping helping of Holy Spirit. This year we have a chance to put the reason for the season ahead of the usual hustle and bustle of the holiday. Fill this Christmas with love and peace, open hearts instead of charge accounts, God lives, let's invite Him in this holiday season.

Good morning and welcome to the start of Advent! There is a babe on the way, a gift from God, a king! Ok so he is still a few weeks from a heralded arrival.... Luckily for us this gives us time to anticipate the big day, to give ourselves over to Hope, with faith in God and His special gift for our salvation! Grab your communion elements, some dear ones, and your favorite chair, let's get excited about the real reason for the season!!

Welcome to our special Veteran's Day Service, honoring those who serve with love. We have the pleasure of Don Sunday singing for us today, you may want to stand for these. We thank everyone who steps up and does the scary and dangerous things so that their fellow man may have a better life, there is no greater love. Grab your communion elements, hug any vets in reach, and join us for some good old Love of Jesus kind of church, NLBCC style!

Hope is expectation. Hope lifts our faces to look further down the path. In Christ, hope is believing the Eternal One has something most excellent for us ahead.

Here we are loved Our service today is so stuffed with love you may want a box of tissues handy. What makes our church so special, the Holy Spirit that our beloved family generates when together, it fills this celebration and we are so glad you can join us. Grab some loved ones to share this with you, your communion elements to share with them, gather round and enjoy going to church. Oh and that box of tissue, this is a beautiful experience, chock full of memories, and love.

Remember...this week we Fall Back in our time so our service is still at 10:45 but it will feel like it is an hour later. And, this worship has a few sweet surprises in honor of All Saints Day. Re-membering...puts us back together with those we've loved.

Welcome everyone! You are just in time for some good ol' fashioned church, presented with a modern twist. In Long Beach a long hot summer is winding down, cooler weather has found you at last, and Halloween is just days away with the holiday season hot on its heels. Its a shame that Covid had to cancel 2020, not an easy pill to swallow, but we have an ancient antidote for this ailment, goes by the name of Jesus, always there when you need healing and you can never run out! Grab your communion elements, some friends, the best seat in the house, and join us as we celebrate the one consistant blessing in life!

It's not just Sunday, it's a double feature Sunday!! We can all start our day off right with our online service, go us! For those of us lucky enough to be in the LB area you have another chance to worship this evening!!! Yes it is Live Church in our parking lot, arrive before 5 and bring a chair and something to sip. Rumor has it there will be some much missed familiar faces in the crowd, as if you needed another reason to celebrate with our church family this evening.
