Being in the fitness industry it is our job and my business to inspire, motivate and help you to achieve your goals. There is something enticing about the start to a fresh new year but why do we have to wait until January 1st?We can hit that reset button whenever we want. As I had predicted not much has changed entering into the New Year yet fitness professionals ali...ke are trying their damndest to inspire and motivate. Using sayings like slay the day and new year, new goals. For some reason it’s really rubbing me the wrong way this year even though it is my business. It all sounds so forced and fake when basically 2020 is rolling over. Nothing has changed. Our lives still feel like they are on hold. However, there is hope on the horizon for 2021 with the vaccine rolling out and new leadership rolling in! I/we offer you a real approach, grounded in an obtainable and reasonable foundation and always have. Same with our Pilates. There’s a lot of noise out there now in virtual Pilates La-La land but what we offer you is a contemporary approach to a strong classical Pilates foundation. Let’s just keep swimming together and please know we are here for you in any capacity we can be. Our virtual classes are holding strong and have been where we just keep swimming sometimes literally performing the exercise Swimming (it’s great for your backside). Have a reformer at home? The new look of post #pilates glow . A few things about wearing a masks: 1) It’s not about protecting yourself but about protecting everyone around you. It helps to mitigate the spread of germs which in turn will help protect you too!... . 2) Once you get past the initial feeling of having your warm breath hit your face you adjust and it actually reminds you to breath! . 3) Find the right mask that works for you! There are different materials, different fits and different sizes. . 4) Know that if you like to work out with your eyes on your eye make-up may feel a little sticky if your breath is being shot up to toward your eyes. . 5) On that note...if you wear eye glasses try folding up a paper towel and neatly place it inside your mask. It may help soak up moisture. You can also try and find a mask that directs your breath downwards toward your chin. .
