Our staff would like to send our deepest love and condolences to the Guerra Family who lost a Wife/Mother. Tami was an amazing person who’s personality could light up the darkest room. We will miss her dearly and hope her Son and Husband find peace knowing she left such an impact on everyone who crossed her path

This morning we said goodbye to our Hospital cat Oscar. Oscar shows up at our door as a very sick feral cat some time ago, we took X-rays and discovered he had been shot with BBs close to 20 times! Our tech Brenda nursed him back to health and he continued to live on our property, eventually deciding he would like to sleep inside and waited at the back door every evening to be brought in. We don’t know how old he was but we are glad to have given him a very comfortable last few years of his life.

Happy Tech week to our AMAZING techs who work hard to keep your pets safe, our Doctors safe, and make sure the office runs smoothly all day every day! We could not do it without them. Gina- Our awesome Surgical Tech, if your pet has ever had a surgical procedure with us within the last 20 years, there’s almost a 100% chance Gina was the surgical tech! There’s no comparison to her knowledge and efficiency in this line of work. She’s the best of the best. Brenda- Started cleani...ng kennels with us and is now our lead room tech. Brenda has been such a great leader to her peers and we have loved watching her grow into the awesome tech that she is! Carmen- If you own a pug, Carmen has definitely hijacked the appointment from other staff and made sure your fur baby got all the attention it deserves! Carmen did her externship with us after completing a Vet Assisting/ Tech program and we never forgot her! As soon as we had an opening for her we brought her into the team and she’s been an awesome Tech ever since! Carmen truly loves and cares for all the animals she comes across and it shows in her work daily. Estefani- Estefani also completed her externship with us and was hired on as a tech. She is so patient and caring with the animals and her interaction with staff and attention to detail is just a few of her awesome qualities. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in the future! Karla- Karla also completed her externship with us and was hired recently as a back up receptionist, however we quickly realized her skill and compassion for animals would make her a great Tech, and we were right! We also must recognize our two receptionists! If it weren’t for them your pets wouldn’t make it in or out of our office! Magda has been with our office for over 25 years and if you have ever been in or called, chances are she has helped you at some point! Magda’s knowledge and calm demeanor has helped many of our clients through difficult times. Brandi just recently started with our office as a receptionist and has done great learning during these crazy COVID times. We look forward to watching her grow and we are hopeful to someday see her off to her dream of being accepted into Vet School!
